Boxer Insane
As far as I can tell, everyone is still using the 1994 report from the CDC on dog bite statistics. Unfortunately, the stats are horribly skewed since not every bite is reported, only the serious bites. Also if the dog is a mixed breed, they require the owners to "pick" the dominant breed. :( Not very good stats.stacynmel said:where do these people get there info from.
There hasnt been a significant study made with the right control factors. And quite frankly as long as the stupid legislation can be passed they will not put forth the money to get a good study done. Perhaps if people would band together and sponsor such a study, we would have a scientific study that was verifiable and defendable.
As long as the legislation continues to point the finger at one breed or another, then our breed will always be in danger of getting on that list. The only breeds that seem to be exempt are the ones under 25lbs.
