That's great you were able to talk with them. They deal with mange a LOT in rescue. They know a lot about it and I wouldn't hesitate to take their word on it.

Demodex usually gets worse before it gets better, so don't get discouraged. Just keep doing some reading on it, lots of people here have been through the same exact thing. Just be patient ;)

I'm glad you were able to contact the rescue, I also did that when researching treatment for Samson. Good Luck!

well 2 weeks ago my buddie and kadie were playing in the backyard and she hit her side on a cement block well a few days later her bruise started to grow and turn red, and then her eye did the same thing and i just took her to the vet and they said she has mange. the vet put her on some food that is soupose to boost her imune system, and she is getting diped well she told me it is the worst kind of mange there is (i forgot the name) and sence it is all the way on her body she said shes not positive the dips will be able to treat it. she told me its common in white boxers and white bulldogs because they usually have a lower immune system. so she said we will have to do some dip treatments 6 times, and i said well if after the 6 time its not fixed what do we do and she said we will cross that bridge when we get there. she said for a white boxer it wouldn't be a suprise if it didn't get any better.
I hope she is better soon.
