Only popped Dani on the butt once...

I think we've only popped Dani on her behind once in the three and a half years we've had her. If she's done something she's not supposed to do (one of those P & V days), mom ignores her until Dani calms down. Of course, when dad comes home from work, all her attention is on him, and she has nothing to do with mom. By the next morning, all are friends again.

I smacked Scarlet once and will NEVER do it again. Although it stopped her from doing what she was doing, I still cannot come to grips with the guilt. She didnt yelp or act scared, but the next time I yelled at her for something and pointed my finger at her, she flinched. :( Ohhhh the guilt!

I guess now I don't feel so bad I never spanked Maxerboxer, but
when I pulled on his chain , Just the look on his face, I wanted to cry. Now Bailey is a different story sometimes we use a fly swatter on his behide not hard , but mosly just to wave it in front of him.

After replacing Pancho's foot bandage about 4 times in two days, it was from where he had a tumor removed I got frustrated with him and spanked him on the butt and I felt sooooo guilty. He was eating the bandage stuff!!! I didn't think it would ever heal, he had chewed the stitches out and we had to keep it covered.
The incision finally healed and looks great now.


It didn't seem to hurt him he just pouted soo much.

I feel the same way .....sometimes its all you can do to just give em a little tap......One night my husband and I just returned from work and we were starving.....I just cooked some chicken and placed it on the table (at the edge my fault) but still....I turned my head for a milasecond....and my chicken was running away.....I chased Rayna and gave her a little swat on the but.... She hasnt done it since......but after I did that I did feel really bad but my husband asured me it was ok.....I didnt hurt her.....just let her know that what she did was naughty....happy Im not alone on this one.......thanks guys:rolleyes:

We've got good cop & bad cop @ my house. My wife is the good cop & I'm the bad cop. I'll whip him in a minute if I can catch him digging that 3' hole in my back yard. Lucky for him I can never catch him in the act. However, whenever I do catch him, the feelings are hurt alot more than the but is.

ps: before you all rebel against me, I do believe that positive reinforcement is the best way to go, & 9 times out of 10 that the way I go.
