Waldo had to be boarded wednesday morning till 4 o'clock friday while I was 200 miles away on a business trip. This was his first boarding and he got checked for worms and his Bordatella shot while he was there. When I'm still an hour and a half away from home today I got a phone call from the vet. "Waldo is fine though he bounces like a kangaroo on the leash and won't listen to us. He could benefit from puppy training classes." I got there and paid the receptionist while they went and got him. There was a note that he refused to eat from a metal bowl(his bowl at home is metal?). A male vet tech the size of a linebacker brought Waldo by holding him in his arms with all 4 legs safely secured. I think he pitched a royal fit about being left.

Poor Waldo! I do have a question though. If he wouldn't eat from a metal bowl, what other bowl did they try? I am assuming her that they did feed him some way. I gave up on boarding. Every time I did my dogs got so stressed and/or sick I found it easier to get someone to stay in my home with them, or have them stay with someone I and they know.

No training classes yet though I did buy a clicker today. I didn't ask what bowl they did use, I got out while the getting was good.
