Axle and the Mysterious Ball

A few days ago, Axle found a ball in the backyard he did not know was there. So he looks it over to see if he approves and of course he does. So he starts boxing it around, and all of a sudden, the ball hits Axle in the face. This does not suit well. Axle looks at it with his ears up, as if to say " Did that ball just hit me in the face?". So all of a sudden after staring at it for a minute. He starts barking at it. Barks and Barks and growls, and does the howling sort of thing. So funny to watch. So know everytime we go out, it is in the plan that we have to bark at the ball.

I love the stop-dead-in-tracks-look... As if to say "you did not just do that!!!" then go on and "kill" the toy. Oskar does that quite often! He thinks his toys are alive.

That made me laugh out loud! It's so weird how expressive they are! My Diesel boy was playing with a childrens ball that was almost bigger that he is and he pushed it all the way to the end of the hallway and then started to run back but each time the ball would hit the wall and start rolling back after him!! He thought it was chasing him and would make it halfway down the hall before having to turn back around to put the ball back in it's place! Such a silly boy! :D
