Holden's Mom
Boxer Insane
Our dear Autry left for the Bridge early yesterday morning. He had spent three of the last four nights up all night, walking aimlessly, often yelping. Even the pain meds were not helping. The fast growing brain tumor had won. Early Friday morning, I called the local vet's office and we relieved Autry of the pain and anguish of the last few days. He would run free and be a dog once again.
It is so difficult to think he will not see his seventh birthday in October, to know we will never see that sweet face, begging for a treat or bringing us a toy to play. Autry was in our life a short three plus years. We just wanted a few more to spend with this dear boy.
It was not to be. The tumor so tormented him. I see him running with Brutus at the beach in doggie heaven.
We love you Autry, and always will.
