hello everybody. i just found this site not too long ago while i was looking for a solution to my puppies dilemma. i have a 3 year old white boxer named aurora. she is a big baby most of the time. but she's very protective of her territory and if people come around her yard, even if she knows them, she charges, with her hackles raised and barking. it scares people, and even thoguh i know she wouldnt bite them, they dont and im afraid she's going to get maced or worse. i was reading on here and a puppy named violet had the same problem, buit i dont know how to see if anyone had a solution for her. well i guess thats about it. thanks

Hi and welcome to BW! Research threads in the behavior forum. You should look into having Aurora assessed by a behaviorist, not a trainer. A behaviorist can help you figure out what her problems are, and help you work through them. :) Good luck.
