Hi,
My wife and I would love to setup a boxer event in Atlanta. Maybe at one of the quieter dog parks like the newer one in Oakhurst? We're flexible with places and times. We live in East Atlanta (Ormewood Park), but we're happy to drive wherever for a great boxer experience with our 1 year old clown.

How about Sunday, January 29th? I thought if we planned far enough ahead it might help more people plan for our boxer party.

I'm interested in bringing my two (Boris and Mocha) to the park. I haven't been to that park but would like to check it out. Not a big Piedmont fan.

Alright, our ATL boxer bash is underway! Does January 29th suit you? If so lets consider the date final and maybe b/w now and then we can get a few more takers.

It looks to be about 21 miles or so from me..Hummer and I love dog parks. Is there a playground there as well? My DH will usually take the kids to the park to play while Hummer and I mingle. Please post a reminder as the get together comes together..Looking forward to meeting you all and your fur kids..

Thrilled you and hummer are on board! Here's some more info about Oakhurst. Here are a few more facts about the dog park and surrounding area. There is a recreational facility nearby that has a playground area, although I've never been there myself.

-OAKHURST DOG PARK, next to the Boys & Girls Club, 450 East Lake Dr.
-Parking at Oakhurst Park in Third Avenue lot.
-No parking in Boys & Girls Club or Oakhurst Presbyterian Church lots.
-No dogs allowed on Boys & Girls Club property.
-Totally enclosed with fencing.

Oakhurst Park
307 Feld Ave.
An eight-acre neighborhood recreational facility,
Oakhurst Park has two multipurpose fields, a picnic

building. It also has two lighted tennis courts, a
basketball court and a playground area. The park has
two separate parking areas and walkways connecting its
