Just trying to decide between this or another diet change that my friend is on and lost a lot of weight on in a week. Thank ya for the help!![]()
The thing you have to consider is that you don't want to lose too much weight in a short period of time. You stress your body out and could cause permanent damage, I think mostly to your heart.
This RAW diet that we are going through is considered to be what humans are supposed to eat. A dehydrator, a very good food processor, and a juicer are (from what I've read) a few of the things you would only need. After much reading and going over some of the recipes, I find that I have more variety on RAW than I ever would in a regular diet.
If we eat what our bodies are designed to eat, we start feeling better, becoming more active, and therefore begin losing weight THE NATURAL WAY (among other things)!! So I would steer clear of any diet fads you hear or see "work." I've also read that just becuase you are thin does not mean you are healthy. So read some of the books that we've mentioned on this thread, you'll find them very interesting.
