Hi All . . . wanted to let you know that Baron and Sadie will not be able to play on Saturday. Jim and I have a close friend getting married and we will be at the wedding and reception Saturday evening. My puppies are disappointed, but we have promised to mark the calendar for September. Have a great time - be SAFE.

Hey all,

My wife and I should be able to make it back this Saturday for the bash. Our little one is Baily. We had her out for the May bash when she was only about 9 weeks old. She was the little one always looking for a chair to get under when the big dogs came around. She's almost 6 months old now and we'll see how she does with the other dogs this time. Hopefully, the poison ivy is over with as well. I itched for a month and had to get shots from the May trip.

In May, the heat forced us into the shade, where the taller grass and the poison ivy and snakes lived. Hopefully, the sun will be low enough that we won't have to worry about that.

Woohoo!! Good for you! I have a mole being removed Oct. 16th (hmo's are so great aren't they? that's the 1st appt I could get). I hope it's not cancerous, but it wasn't there last year so it's a bit suspicious!

YEAH!

SAMSKIDS - So glad to hear your mole was clear. My family has had 3 cancer scares this year and we are so blessed that they were just that...scares.

The bash is going to be great. Let's hope we have a big turnoutfiesta1ico

Cristy - welcome to BW!!!!...you will love it. I have learned so much from this site and it has really educated me. Something I needed before I even got Bailey.

schipperj25 and ssleighter -
About the off-leash question. Hopefully your dogs will not run off too far. My female loves to follow the walking groups so I have a real hard time with her. You can always keep your babies on leash until you feel comfortable letting them off. Hopefully yours listen better than mine and you won't have to spend the majority of the time calling them to come. If Bailey gets too far, I really try to get her attention with a treat or make her come chase me to the area where we are. It really is a lot of fun and the dogs love it. With all the boxers around, I doubt yours will take off anyway. Most of them just play together in the open area where we all are. HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THERE!!!

There are snakes, nobody mentioned snakes... LOL! Really I'm not TOO afraid of snakes. I have a question though, do you put skeeter repellent on your furkids? If so, what kind?

Went out this morning - it's getting a lil grassy right at the entrance, SOO maybe we should move back towards the upperhalf of the field instead?

I'd feel more comfy that way anyways, that way we dont have random dogs that are just coming into the park and raring to go and charge at one of our babies.

btw - kman will DEF not be out there on saturday - i had a hard enuf time with him alone and NO ONE at the park this morning. so for all of you that haven't met Lola Mae - saturday is her debut :)
