You are on-time troopers and we are so sorry we missed you!!
We were a little late- 1:15- got stuck in that Dallas "High Five" construction and we took a little extra time getting our rain gear together. When we got to the park we were literally the only 2 humans and dog there. Henri took off- doing the "Im Free Im Free" run- and then we called my sister and she brought her golden and lab for some running buddies.

We were so thrilled when shortly thereafter we saw Niko heading our way, with adorable skin babies in tow. (they were even more adorable when they were covered in boxer paw mud and still smiling
It was great to meet you guys- Niko is great- we loved her! And talk about being able to put young Henri in his place! Go Niko!

We are out next weekend- traveling- but we will be there the following Saturday and then I guess its time to do whatever dance we need to do to make sure it doesn't rain on the 27th- Im beginning to believe Rowdy and his Dad are imaginary!

I was home sick with a sinus infection most of the week. Just when my sinus infection cleared up, I was crippled up with gout. I'm doing somewhat better, but I overdid it this weekend flying to Tulsa for work. I'm on call 24/7. I'm off pager on the 27th and I'll try really hard to be at that scheduled bash. My kids also have the sniffles and I didn't want to get them out in the weather. If you check out boxer bash pictures on samantha& vasha's websites, you'll see me and my 2 oldest boys and Rowdy. We look forward to hooking up with all you guys.

Wow! I'm amazed some of you actually braved the weather!

Well, our Ruthie is doing much better as far as kennel cough goes, so we're getting her boosters finished up this week. Then it's off to the park any old weekend! :D

So is it around 12 or 1 next weekend? We'll probably end up there closer to 1 than 12. I'm thinking positive thoughts for the weather. I can tell Ruthie's just dying for some doggie play! :D

we missed too OBVIOUSLY!! by the time we got out of obedience classes and i looked up, it was coming down HARD (12:45 or so). kaiser looked at me and ran towards the car, and waited for me to let him in (which he never does), so i knew he wasn't up to the dog park.

and i would've at least posted a message but since i'm SoOoOoOoO smart i downloaded a virus (somehow) on my home computer. raiden's working on fixing that for me, so for now, i'm internet-less (going thru withdrawls) and computer-less except here at work (hehehe).

anyways, IF the weather is better next week, kaiser and i will be out there next saturday to play.

Good Monday Morning . . . I hope everyone had a nice weekend even though we were stuck inside most of the weekend. I'm not sure who napped the most - the dogs or us !!

Anyway, why don't we make it 1:00 ish on Saturday (pending nice weather) since several people have conflicts (Vasha and Kaiser have class, etc.) and that gives everyone time for lunch.
Let's just hope and pray for a nice spring day for our Boxer babies to sun and play.

Well, I'm not trying to bum anybody out but they are calling for rain AGAIN this weekend. I am so sick of rain! I know it has to rain but it could at least rain during the week instead of ruining every weekend. Geeez! Give us a break.

Dog Gone It!!

It is saying here, that it is t-storms all day on Friday, and a big chance on Saturday ... I JUST put down my perennial garden plans and I am WAITING for NO rain, so I can seed .... but hey, no rain during the week ... maybe if we said it LOUD enough, we can say that we were getting together Thursday, and then the weather would be like ...oh I see, your wanting to get together Thursday, not Saturday? So I will RAIN on Thursday .. <evil rain laugh> hahaha , but then we would REALLY go on Saturday... then the joke would be on the weather, and NOT on us .. .. or maybe we could just do the rain dance ...

Arg .... we're game for NICE weather on Saturday , we're there!

Brick Biting!

PS. Niko loved the 75* yesterday (mon) and went to fight it out with her brick ... tired of the cold and wet weather, we had rain non-stop on Saturday night from 10:00pm to Sunday night to 10:00pm .... LOUD thunder and LOTS of lightning!!

The closest lightning we had was right over McDermont (we can walk a few feet to the street!) thought maybe it struck the street .. aagggg

Yesterday and today have been WONDERFUL !! Baron and Sadie have been sunning themselves; lying on the loungers by the pool. They are just like their Mom - happy when the sun is shining! Tomorrow is also forecast to be nice and then it sounds like it may be downhill into the weekend again. How many weekends in a row - 4 or 5 at least . . . ENOUGH . . .

IF we get more rain on Friday, the park is going to be really muddy again. Saturday it was awful. Our tennis shoes had so much mud on them they felt like heavy Ski Boots !! I don't think I can talk the hubby into another muddy play date after we finally got his car cleaned up last weekend, but we will see . . . Baron and Sadie will have to "pout" and "beg" - they will do a better sales job than me probably.

Keep fingers and paws crossed friends . . . Also, can you tell me how much Niko weighs. She is a femal, right? What a beautiful girl - my Sadie is only 52 lbs - about 2/3 the size of our male and doesn't have the nice head and broad chest that is typically boxer. But I think she is beautiful and definately the smartest baby around. THANKS . . .
