Directions to Talley Day Park

Let's pick a date that won't rain! ;) Hahaha... As if anyone could plan to avoid the rain.

-----------------------

A quick map to the nearest intersection

For those of you coming from I-95 (North and South):

- Take the 202 North/Concord Pike North exit off of I-95. Southbound will be Exit 8B. Northbound will be Exit 8, bear to the left following signs for 202 North.

- Go through first intersection, moving to far right lane after intersection.

- Make RIGHT turn at second intersection onto Foulk Rd/Rt 261. Turn is 0.5 mi from first intersection. (If you reach 141, a Gulf station, and Astra Zeneca building, you've gone one intersection too far.)

- At the next light make a LEFT turn onto Foulk Rd. Both lanes turn left.

- Stay on Foulk Rd for 1.4 miles.

- Go through the intersection of Foulk and Shipley and make a RIGHT turn at next light into Talley Day Park. (Brandywine Library and Foulk Manor North are next to park.)

- The dog park is at the rear of the loop past the basketball and tennis courts. You can't really miss it.

------

The route should be straightforward and the roads are well-marked. Because of the road construction on 202/Concord Pike, traffic has been rerouted. Mapquest's map doesn't indicate the road work. Even without the super-detailed instructions above, you'll find the turn for Foulk Rd. I just don't want anyone to get lost! :)

If anyone thinks they might need my cell#, just PM me for it.

When do we want to meet? I am free this weekend....Sunday is should be nice. Is any one free Sunday say at noon or 1pm? If not just say when and I will do my best to meet you all!

I can't do this weekend. This weekend is Fair Hill Weekend and I usually spend the weekend up there watching the event. For those that don't know about eventing, they have a big three phaise equestrian event up at fair hill. Once a year they have the big international. They not only have the equestrian stuff, but they usually have the dog agility as well. They also sometimes have some neat demonstrations. I am planning on taking Shelby to watch. But what about Next Weekend. Can we plan for Saturday October 23, then if it is not nice, we can maybe postpone till Sunday?

And thanks for the Directions!

We take Panzer every Sunday, weather permitting. I can make a point of getting there around 1 (not into these "morning" things). We usually stay for more than an hour, depending on the dogs/owners.

Next weekend sounds great! Either day works for me.

Okay, how about Saturday October 23 at 1pm at Talley Day Dog Park. I am so excited! I can't waite to get home and tell Shelby! I know she will have a blast!

Toffee & I will try to be there--she'll still be in town for her visit :) If I can make it, I will be dragging my patient parents along too--but they love boxers (of course, seeing as they have one as a grandchild)!

Woohoo! Yippeeeeee! :D

Panzer doesn't know about the bash yet. Maybe I'll tell him this weekend. He'll drive me nuts if I mention the dog park and don't take him right away.

If I see any Boxer owners at the park, I will pass along that we're having a Boxer Bash. Maybe they'll come and Boxers will rule the park for a few hours. A coworker has a young male - I left a note for her so we may see her there as well.
