I'm interested in a DE Boxer Bash!
Never been to Carousel's Bark Park but a few coworkers take their dogs. Panzer goes to the Talley Day Dog Park off of 202/Concord Pike. (It's the only fenced dog park in the state!) We always have a blast at that park.
Hopefully some more BW DE members will see this thread and decide to get together.

Sounds like fun. Is this a fenced park because Cookie has no recall when she is busy playing with other doggies! :rolleyes: We have a 20' training lead that I can use if it isn't fenced. I will plan on being there unless something strange happens (which does happen in my life!).
If any one has a map of the park I would appriciate it.

yup you can count us in. we live in NJ but DE is not far from us at all! I have a good idea where talley day dog park is but i'm not sure about carousel park

Carousel's bark park isn't fenced in. I thought it was back in May and suggested it as a site for a PA bash. (Found it out wasn't and went on a search for a dog park in the area that was fenced in.)
If Panzer goes to Carousel, I'll have to keep him on a lead too. I'm not comfortable with his recall off-lead. It's bad enough trying to snag him when he's pooped out and inside a fence!
Here's a link to a map from Mapquest showing the intersection and park boundary. The dog park contains the pond - quite a few dogs go swimming in it. Carousel is at the intersection of Old Linden Hill Rd and Limestone Rd - Wilmington, DE. If you're coming from NJ or points north, you can take I-95 down to the Christiana Mall/Rt. 7/Rt. 1 exit (165 A, I think).
(Talley Day Park is only 11 miles away from Carousel Farms Park.)
If anyone needs directions to either park, feel free to PM me.
