Anyone heard of this name??

Hi, this isn't my boxers name but it is going to be my new puppies name.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of the name Keela before? and if so does it have a meaning?

Its pronounced Key-La

I have only heard it once before on the show "Rescue Me" its one of the fire fighters little daughters name. I heard that name and it stuck for some reason I really like it.

I looked it up to see what the meaning was and I couldn't even find the name, so maybe its made up. I don't care, I think its pretty. :D

Yes, I heard it on the T.V too, I think its pretty, I like Kayla too. I did numerous searches for my new puppys name before I found the meaning!

When I first told my mom that I was going to call her Keela, she says
" What!? like tequila the drink?! I don't like that name it sounds like tequila, people are going to think you are saying tequila "

Like I care what other people are going to think, I have never been the type of person who cares what others thought of me :D

But after she said it a few times she decided that it was a good name - I told her don't think tequila, just think Keela - thats all it is

Jenna is cute, I like lilly too and I really wanted to name my next female that, but I have Louie and they sound too similiar. So I am going to name her

Keela's Moonlit Lilly - registered name - its going to be the UKC cuz AKC doesn't recognize the APBT.
