Anyone have an Electrolux vacume?

I have one that I have had for about 10yrs, I have an Oreck upstairs on the second floor that works like crap. So, I wanted to get a Dyson , however, and I know this has been beat to death on this forum, but does anyone have something like the electrolux that I could compare that too? I read that everybody loves them however, if your old vac was a Bissell, well, then I can see why. Not that there is anything wrong with a Bissell or any other brand of vacume,,Im just trying to compare apples to apples.

I have an Electrolux, and I love it! I've always had an Electrolux, so I can't compare it with anything else. I have a canister model, but they make uprights, I believe. It's not bagless--some people want bagless, but mine uses bags.

Thank you for your input, I did get a Dyson this w/e, Im amazed at how awesome it is!! My electrolux is 10yrs old and tired, Im sick of buyin bags. So far so good
