Any tricks for cutting their Nails?

We bought a Dremel. She freaked! Every time I turn it on she growls and barks and there is no way she will let me come close to her with it on. I dremel my other dogs nails with no problem. We stuck with the peanut butter! Good luck with the Dremel!

I actually have no troubles with trimming Sadie's nails. I don't know if its because since the day we got her I always messed with her feet. She just sits there while who ever is doing the trimming. But my friends said someone had told them to use flat beer and it works so they say but I'm not so sure I would do that although my fiance has dropped some beer and Sadie absolutely goes insane for it.

We always use a dremel on our three girls. Just put them on a grooming table and hold their paw in one hand. They get used to it pretty quick.

The Dremmel is the best.I have a battery operated one that i can recharge.That way there is no cord to get in the way and i can trim Foreman's nails where he is comfortable.It is nearly impossible to cut into the quick mind you ,you can grind pretty close but your dog will tell you if you can't see for yourself.You just might want to get him used to the noise....a little whistle sound.I find that the medium sandpaper works well.

WE also use peanut butter. It seems to do the trick!
