I agree with Hobart's. Baron passes out on the bed about an hour before nighty night and that's when I go at him with the nail clippers. We have a collie and she despises having her nails cut at any time. We have to muzzle her and it takes 2 to get even one paw done. Have someone else hold him and use distraction w/ pb or whatever he happens to like. He'll relax after a minute or so. Conner was really bad, but this works.
Oh - get a mask (like from the hardware store) so that you don't breathe in all the fingernail filings. That grossed me out.![]()
