Any Tattoo's?

Just wondered if you have any tattoo's and if so what of and where.

I have two, in areas which are covered and really only seen if i wear short tops of a bikini!

One on my thigh of a japanese symbol (which was my tester to see how painful it was on an area quite fleshy!!!)

The other is across my back just a flowy patern (which really really hurt)

Both were done when I was 17. The one on my thigh is fairly small and I was thinking of maybe getting something done to cover it over but not sure what. I thought maybe getting my bf name over it in arabic for a wedding pressie?

what you guys think?

I personally have one tat, on my right shoulder a very colorful hummingbird..I got the picture from a magazine ad a few years ago..I think it was for some type of "vanilla" perfume.

Hubby has 2 huge ones on his back (we both hate them..he got them when he was 17 now they are cartoonish looking compared to the ink you see these days) and he has a sunrise on his chest with my name and the name of each of our daughters in a circle, there is no beginning and no end (no spaces between the names) he's reasoning for it was we are each just as important to him as the next so no one is first in the circle, etc. He's going next week to get one on his arm and in the summer time he's going back to have a new tat put on his back to cover the old ones.

I personally would never tat anyone's name on me, but thats just my personal prefrence.

I´ve got one on my left shoulder which I hate, its a small budding rose. I was 18 and had just left home to go and live in London. I was living in a house with 7 guys and I think I just wanted to be one of the lads !!!!

But I really want to get it removed, I think that I have grown out of it and also for work it does not look professional. I have to wear sleeves all the time and here in Spain it can be very hot. My hubby said when don´t I get another one to cover it, something more modern.
My hubby has 3, 2 of which are from the marines. He also wants to cover them.

I have a dragon on my back with a sunset and a castle in the background. And the dragon has a fire coming out of his mouth with my sons name and birthdate in it. I want to get another one for my other son but i'm not sure what yet. I got my dragon one when I was 17.

Yes...it always hurts when getting one....and bleeds. That's what I remember most when I got mine when I turned 30. I didn't expect blood for some reason. I have a butterfly on a rose on my wrist. The idea was to continue with the roses until it was a permanent bracelet-never finished it. The artist looked at me odd when I said I wanted it so I could look at it. He said that would be upside down. I said I didn't care since I was doing it for myself to look at,not as a statement to the public-LOL.
