Well, I was at Battle Creek for about an hour this afternoon...no dogs!!! Harley was so sad, he knew we were at a dog park and kept looking all around crying cuz no one was there :( Ha, anyone going anywhere tomorrow? I have the afternoon off again so I was thinking of going somewhere. Battle Creek was quite a drive from my place....where is the Columbia Park one? I really like Rice Creek...but of course if there are dogs elsewhere, we'll go!

I'll be at the Columbia Park unless there is another around. The Columbia Park one is in NE Mpls. Off of Cental Ave and 29th. I live in St. Anthony Village and it is about 3 miles from my house.
I don't think the Rice Creek one is that far either, that one actually looks better since it is so much bigger.

Here is the map of the Columbia Park one. Only thing w/ this one is that it requires an off-leash permit. I haven't had the chance to obtain one yet but have never had a problem.

I took the day off today to watch some b-ball but I'm sure Brittany will bug me until I take her....

I live in New Brighton, right next to St. Anthony...so the Columbia Park one is probably pretty close to me too! I was already at Rice Creek today, but will most likely be going somewhere tomorrow.

Ok people, we REALLY need to plan a boxer bash! We have 10 pages of discussion but I think only a few people met one time! I heard it is supposed to be really warm next week, like high 40's - 50's ?? So let's plan something ahead of time and follow through! Anyone with me?

Next Saturday is the first Saturday of the month. Is there still a boxer group that meets at Perry park at 1pm?
Roxy is getting fixed this Friday, so Saturday the 1st is the next day we can go after this Thursday.

I'll just say my schedule for now...this weekend (24, 25, 26) I am leaving town. The rest of this week I work until about 4, and I go to the park pretty much every day. Next weekend (31, 1, 2) I work until 3:30pm everyday, but will go to the park after :)

Good luck to Roxy getting spayed! That is first on my list as soon as I get my paycheck!

I've been to the Perry Park event before w/ other boxers. It is a baseball field. Last time there it was very muddy, especially the infield area with all the red clay......very messy.

Anyone else? Anyone? I'm very disappointed in the Twin Cities boxer owners! ;) Julie are you going to the park tomorrow since it is Roxy's last day before spay? I usually go to Rice Creek everyday about 4, but that might be far from you! Anyone who wants to meet me tomorrow...just speak up!!!
