Sorry, I didn't see any replies and got a migraine and just slept. It was pretty cold and windy at my house. Why can't we just have a nice day when we all can go!! And did you mean is it icy at the dog park? No, it was kinda muddy on the little path out there, but it was great in the actual park. I really liked that park and plan on going a LOT, once it is nice of course. Sorry about today...some day it will all work!!!!!!

Sorry, I didn't go either. I decided to stay at the show all day. Almost all of the people in my Rally class were showing today and I wanted to stay and watch the Novice level teams, which usually show last. It was almost 4:00 p.m. when I left and I didn't think anyone would still be at the park.

We went on Saturday and only stayed 30 minutes because I was stupid and only had a sweater on... SO we went to Battle creek later in the day with warmer atire. Today was nice, there were 5 boxers at the park at the same time!!!! Everyone was pretty shocked, and happy! They were all playing in the mud, but it was pretty entertaining!
If anyone wants to go this weekend just let me know a time and place. We go to the park all of the time, so you can just pick.

Were you at Battle Creek today? I was at Rice Creek! I'm so jealous there were 5 boxers where you were! I'm planning on going to the dog park this week in the late afternoon...probably later in the week when it's warm, and also this weekend. Let's wait to see what the weather will be like for the weekend and then set something up.
Does anyone go to the park in Columbia Park? It is just off of Central Ave in NE Mpls. I usually try to go a few times a week sometime between 3-6PM. If anyone is interested in heading over there let me know. We'll have to get the dogs together at the Minnehaha location when the mud starts to dry up...pretty messy right now.

I'm always up for new locations, especially if there will be other boxers there! Looks like we won't be going tomorrow though...another winter storm warning!! Although regulars go to the Rice Creek park no matter WHAT. I went the day of the last huge snowfall and there were 3 other dogs there, we trudged through the snow and made our own path.
Let me know when you go to the other parks. Brittany could always use someone to run around with. I took her the park near Lake of the Isles the other day after all the snow. There were only 3 of us there but she ran circles for an hour straight in the deep snow. She was completely exhausted after that! It was very funny watching her in all the snow you could tell she was having a blast.

Julie~ don't know if you'll get this before 2, but are you still going today even though we have all this snow? I'm interested in going, I have the rest of the afternoon off! I have the directions for Battle Creek, maybe I'll try it out regardless...I have lots of warm clothes
