Sorry I couldn't get on here the past day! We ended up taking Roxy to an indoor playgroup they have at the Golden Valley Humane Society. It's $10 from 5:30-7pm 2 Fridays a month. It's totally supervised by dog trainers and other volunteers. It was so much fun to just sit back and not have to worrie about the other dogs for once. Anyways Me and Roxy will be at Battle Creek tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm if anyone wants to join us!

Minnesota Boxers
I didnt realize i missed out on so much discussion, i tend to rely on the message notify and sometimes it doesnt always follow through, sorry!
We have lots of Minnesota boxers but only a few belong on boxerworld. I was waiting last week to hear if all of us were going to get together but never heard anything. Generally, we have it scheduled for the first Saturday of each month. When i find out more information i'll post.
I live in the Anoka area, have 2 flashy, neutered boxers and presently have a foster guest boxer named Franny (deaf, white). Generally on the weekends our rescue volunteers bring over their boxers to my fenced in yard for a few boxers burns. Maybe as the weather becomes warmer we'll all eventually get to meet at a nearby dog park.

We are also from Minnesota - Specifically Eden Prairie. I have been searching for other boxers for my 6 months old to play with. If anyone lives near the Western suburbs and want to meet at a dog park - let me know.
Also - does anyone know of any good training nearby? I am struggling to find puppy training.

I am actually driving to the Golden Valley for training classes from the other side of St. Paul. It's at the Animal Humane Society. http://www.animalhumanesociety.com/training_info.asp The classes are VERY flexable and they use all positve methods!! AND the money I pay goes to the shelter.
This Friday is "yappy hour" from 5:30 to 7pm. It's an indoor play group for all dogs. I will be taking Roxy for sure this week! The trainers and volunteers are all there supervising the play time and you can ask them any questions you might have. (it does cost $10 if you are not enrolled in classes, and $5 if you are)
