i know it's controversial...

But i couldn't put A Million Little Pieces down. Loved it, before all the controversy, that is. The sequel, My Friend Leondard was okay.

I just got done Memoirs of a Geisha. It was pretty good.

I really liked A Million Little Pieces! Read it a little while back--before the Oprah fiasco...I actually just heard about that a few weeks ago! Sometimes I tend to live in a vacuum, I think! Haven't read the sequel, but A Million Little Pieces did have me hooked! His description and narrative while at the dentist...:eek: I couldn't have put it down if the house was burning up around me!

If you like historical fiction, the Jack Whyte series is excellent. It follows the King Arthur, Excalibur, Camelot story, but with a twist. I was hooked immdiately and read each one cover to cover in just a few days. I also enjoyed the Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" series. Some in the series are better than others, but the series as a whole is good. I have read all but the latest release. You also can't go wrong with Dan Brown. I also liked Ishmail and the Story of B, by Daniel Quinn. These are philisophical, but very interesting and easy reading. Tuesday's with Morrie and 5 People you Meet in Heaven are also good books. I will work on some of your other recommendations next!

Kellerman

I love Jonathan Kellerman, I call them Psychological thrillers. He has a character, Alex Delaware that works with the police on Homicides. His wife Faye is a good read too.
