Any Boxers with Hawaiian names?

Just curious to know if there are any boxers with Hawaiian names?
I thought I saw one named Koa on another thread, that's what sparked my question.

Aloha girl!! Yes, my baby boy's name is Koa!! I'm Samoan/Tongan but I've lived in Hawaii & most of my in laws are Hawaiian. I love the Hawaiian names, I like them better then the Samoan names.(shhhh) LOL! My 3 daughters have Hawaiian names as well. whew..... Was that to much info or what?! LOL! Holla back!

Growing up in California, most of my friends were big kine Hawaiian. So that's the influence I got for life.

Puppies on Oahu

My wife and I have been checking the classifieds everyday for some time now. Can anyone put us in touch with boxer owners on Oahu expecting puppies? Thanks!

There was a lady who put the ad in the Honolulu Advertiser selling pups about 2 weeks ago. She was on the Marine Corps Base.

There was also a couple of ads in the Hawaii Tribune Herald out of Hilo.

We got so desperate because we couldn't find any pups that we are shipping our girl in from New Zealand this month!!! We can't wait.

Sorry, but you cannot get breeder referrals through Boxerworld. We do not allow individual breeders to be promoted through this site.

The best place to start looking for a responsible breeder will never be in the classified adverts. That's just a good way to find a backyard breeder or a puppy mill. Try your nearest boxer club. They should be able to put you in touch with any breeder members who follow a responsible screening programme for the genetic diseases common to boxers, and who may have a litter coming up. You can find a list of boxer clubs at http://www.americanboxerclub.org/us-boxer-clubs.html and there is one there in Hawaii. You still need to check the health screening for yourself, and here is some information on what any responsible breeder should be screening for: www.boxerworld.com/health_testing
