Any older students here?

I'm 30 and considering starting Uni. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to study yet, but have wanted to up-skill for years. I have been studying computers for the last year with success, but now, I'm considering doing a degree in something.

I dont have anybody depending on me to bring home money, so it's really just me that I have to worry about.

Any older students here?

well i'm not really oooolder, but then neither is thirty! ... i'm early twenties and just went back to school last year. it was really great for me to finally find the direction in my life that i needed.... a good confidance boost. what are you considering taking?

I'm in my 30's and just found out that a community college has a vet tech program so I am thinking of going back to school for that. I already have a bachelor of science degree in Psychology but that doesn't pay anything. The vet tech doesn't pay much either, but at lease I'll be doing something I like. A bit nervouse about going back to school because I always had this dream/nightmare that I went back to school and always blank out during an exam. It's always the same theme, I couldn't even do the simple stuff that I learned in HS and it's always right when I'm sitting in the classroom to take an exam. (Anyone can interpret that?). Well im 19 and considered an adult , But I dont act like one, I plan on starting school later on this year (when im already 20 :eek: ) Cant wait, My boyfriend is 21 and he is also starting school this year so we are a few years behind from other people but its never too late

Well I'm over the hill at 40 and started college last year. I'm in a math class right now that I hate. I wish I could just say my dog ate my book:D

I went back to school for computer programing when I was 27 and found I enjoyed it alot more than I had previously. I also got much better grades. Of course there are no jobs now in my field so choose your major wisely. I am still paying off the loan.

ugh..... i agree. i hate math. why is it that i can understand anything else but ask me to use a calculator and i'm lost???? i'm an english major so i guess i'm just not wired to understand math stuff. bleck.

I am 28 soon to be 29, and am hoping to go back to school. I am applying to a nurse anesthesist program. You should go for it, I feel your never to old. Best of luck to you. If I can do it anyone can do it.
