Another poll! What about Jazz?

The guitarist poll gave me the idea for this one....I'm not trying to bite your style! I love jazz! My taste has definitely changed now that I've gotten older!My personal fave is Dave Koz...with Boney running a close 2nd. I am very partial to the sax...so I know there are MANY I have left out! Kenny G....he's so obvoius...and very well known, but I feel that he was so commercialized..JMO...almost like the Michael Bolton of Jazz...Kenny G lovers please forgive me! If there was one thing I can say for my ex-bf...he gave me the gift of jazz!

I LOVE the old stuff! If you like sax, you should check out Charlie Parker if you haven't already. He's amazing! Other favorites of mine are Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington. I'd love to have a boxer named Dizzy someday!

I love jazz! I like the old stuff too....Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie... I also love Branford Marsalis (and Wynton, but he is usually more classical, I think). Also Herbie Hancock and Spyro Gyra, who may not be straight jazz, but are jazzy.

Big Jazz fan here. Can't pick - they are all good, I do love Boney James & Dave Koz & Rick Braun. I got hooked on jazz at my last job, I was so stressed there, the jazz really helped Now I am a fan forever.
