Hello! I am thrilled to see others posting here who are from Alabama ---makes me feel right at home already. I found this site after searching Google for information on my new Boxer puppy named Belle. It has been wonderful to have so much information at my fingertips and even more wonderful to be able to ask questions of those with so much knowledge about Boxers. I live in Montgomery and I'm very excited to have found this site. I'm sure Belle feels better knowing I'm here and that I'll be able to raise her to be the kind of "lady" she deserves to be.
I have every confidence that she will be well worth the money. We're having such fun with her now and she's doing really well with "house training". She sleeps in her crate when the door is open but if she ever wakes and sees it is shut, she starts howling. I'm fairly sure my husband and I made a BIG mistake in letting her sleep between us at night. She does sleep through the night which is good but I know we need to stop this sooner than later. We just have a hard time as new parents of a puppy to hear her cry and howl because she doesn't want to be alone in her crate even though it is beside our bed. Any suggestions would be appreciated but I think I should post this in another forum for questions. Anyway --- thanks to everyone for making us feel welcomed here. We're going to need the help!
