I dont know why I read these posts. I have been avoiding this one all day, but I am working until 9pm tonight and I am bored. I knew I would cry. Why do people like this exist? I am so angry and upset right now. Those poor, poor babies, I just cant even imagine. I cant get the picture out of my head, and it is killing me.

I feel completely sick to my stomach and have tears in my eyes after reading that article... it always amazes me how completely sick some people are... makes me reconsider why I'm studying to be a counselor.. sometimes humankind is just beyond words. Those poor babies... I know they're in a better place. What's so sad is that I'm sure they ran up to whoever did this to them wiggling their butts and jumping up to give kisses, not having any idea what was in store.... just disgusting.

I on my lap top and just as I was reading it my baby jumped on the bed with me and laid ger head on my shoulder and I'm glad thats not my baby, but Linda/NJ you stoll the words out of my mouth, they should be duct taped at the mouth and feet and throne in a pool for a day or so. As far as the puppy and snake thing goes I almost through up when I heard it on the radio. And how can any body cook a cat (no affence to chinese decendence). At least look at the bright side if they don't do their time in jail they will do their time in pergatory. oh did you he about the middle east sending over a video to us on how they poisoned a dog and thats they were going to do with us.

this post made my skin crawl and my eyes have gone all watery. I too can imagine the two boxers greeting these murdering sickos with their little butts wiggling..........if only they knew what was in store for them. .. Poor babies & poor owners knowing that their babies had such a tramatic ending my heart goes out to them

I just read this to my hubby. This is very upsetting. We know animal cruelty happens all the time, but it's Boxers that suffer, it just breaks our heart. :(

just sent this to the reporter

Dear Ms. Bruner,

I am a member of a worldwide Boxer discussion board, I posted your story there on Tuesday. We are all very sickened and saddened by what has happened. I am hoping you will be following this story closely to the end. I am wondering if there has been any news or progress in the case? There has also been mention of people wishing to send condolences to this unfortunate couple who is no doubt grieving the loss of there babies. Many of these people have lost boxers to tragedy, and many rescue boxers. I am sure if there was a place to send kind words set up, there would be an outpouring of support from a very HUGE website filled with people who have a deep connection to this breed.

If the news department doesn't consider this newsworthy enough to update on the news, I would sincerely appreciate an e-mail with any further developments. There is currently a letter writing drive in place to a judge in Fla. who must decide the case of an owner who malicously beat his boxer with a hammer. This dog was left for dead and is now in a rescue. He has sadly lost sight in both eyes and is becomming aggressive. Hopefully this dog will be able to live out what is left of his life with someone who loves him. My point being, is that we are all moved by this story, and if the justice system does its job, We will respond with letters to the judge, hoping to get the maximum punishment for the beast that did this.

thank you for your time

I am absolutely devistated to hear what happened to this family.:( :( :( :(

I hope the people are caught and punished severely.smashicon

I used to think it was OK to leave my dogs loose in the house for protection but now I feel they're safer in their crates.

I met a guy once (not a friend in any means) who is pretty much a career criminal. He told me that when he would break into houses with guard dogs there, he would stab them with a knife until they were down. I was furious to hear this and gave him a peice of my mind.    His reasoning for it was he had to protect himself instead of risking being attacked. (this was when no one was home)

From then on I left my dogs in their crates when I left the house. Let people take what they want. The only thing that matters to me is that my family is safe.
