Vibes for Miss Holly

Cassius and I send <<<<speedy healing vibes>>>> to Holly! I can only imagine how frightened you all must have been! Tell Scrapper to take it easy on her ;)

BooBoo & Riley

Completely Boxer Crazy
It's not poor Scrapper's fault... I know just how these crazy hyper girlies can be. Courage does the exact same thing to our BooBoo, except she has no intentions of catch the thing herself, but rather just to disrupt him as much as possible. I guess we're lucky that Courage has never been hurt from all the times she has smashed herself into BooBoo... Poor Holly with the show ring still waiting for her, but I'm sure she'll heal quickly, but of course not necessarily learn her lesson...

It's always the little girls fault...our big boys would never hurt them if their little sisters just knew their place...:p

Awww, poor baby girl. Sending healing vibes ~~~~~ to Holly. Scrapper ya big lug, hope you are taking care of your little sister. ;) Both of your babies are beautiful. :)

Hurt leg aside, Holly will have one thing going for her in the show ring: a boisterous boxer personality! I doubt whether other breeds are prone to so many toy related injuries :D . Anyway Holly girl..live up to your namesake and go lightly for a little while, but make sure that you get all the sympathy that you are due ... speedy recovery vibes on their way!

glad to hear Little Miss Holly is doing good! I too was wondering about updated pictures! hopefully G*Ma Christina can help us all out! ;) we're still sending ((((Healing Vibes)))) i hope she's all better for her grand debut! :D

well wishes,

Kat

Paisley and I send healing vibes to Miss Holly! A word of advice about the bandaging... When Paisley tore the ligament in her front right leg at 17 weeks old, the vet wrapped her arm from her toes to her elbow, with a pvc splint like thing holding the leg/foot in place. The bandages and splint rubbed places into Paisley's skin and removed the hair. It was basically inevitable, but I would put cotton or a gauze in b/t her leg and the bandaging and clean it everyday.. The vet also told me to keep the bandages dry, that was nearly impossible! I went nuts over that, kept plastic on it, etc.. BUT, it DID get wet and Paisley had a slight infection when she got the splint off (had it on for about 3.5 weeks). The vet prescribed some antibiotics and it cleared in a few days.. But knowing that Holly is destined to be a beautiful show girl, keep an eye on the bandages and it rubbing into her skin. It really made me mad/sad when that happened to Paisley, and I had to end up splitting the splint/bandaging at the top some to relieve the tightness - she grew a lot in those few weeks, so the splint got smaller. You can see pics of her in her splint in my gallery. Good luck and a speedy recovery to Holly!
