HA HA HA!!!!! I am laughing my butt off! He was TERRIBLE...I had to fast forward through it because I couldn't bare to listen to him. And he forgot the words! Kim L was flawless and Clay should go home. I really don't see what you guys see in him. Really, I can't see myself humming along in my car to Clay. Ugh. Rueben and Kim L should go on tonight!

RUBEN!!

I got through a number of times to vote for Ruben, but it was difficult....I did put in some votes for Ruben for you Tam since I know you can't vote where you live. My gosh, AI is on right now and that chick from last season is singing - she's good, but I never heard somewhere over the rainbow sang so freaking slow! Anyway, I think Clay was icky the whole night...sorry to his "fans" - he's just annoying to watch. I wasn't fond of any song her sung last night. He's just so goofy and seems like he's fake. I don't know, there's too much of a lounge singer/elevator music quality to Clay's voice. And he over sings (imo). I loved when Ruben did "smile" - I like that song and it warmed me all over. Are Kimberely's expressions starting to bother anyone besides me?? Ugh...I can't believe I watch this show! (my husband laughs at me cause I actually started to call and vote too...last season I didn't watch one show cause I thought it was horrible!) - I think the only reason why I watch is to see RUBEN STUDDARD represent!

Well no big surprise here with the boys going on to the final. I think that Ruben is going to win though - did you see that he needed to have a police escort and bodyguards in his hometown?? He's already a superstar!

Wow - only a 4% difference in votes...that is really slim! Just goes to show how important it is to vote! Please throw in a vote for me for Ruben pleeeeeeeeeeze! A BIG thank you to Jo-Ann!

I tried to vote for Clay last night and kept hitting that redial button for two hours and still didn't get through.

I like Ruben but he really does sound like Barry White and all his songs sound the same to me. I grew up on Barry White but want a new and fresh sound. If you put the teddy bear quality aside Ruben has even less personality than Kimberly Locke. If I had to choose between Ruben and Clay I would choose Clay. He got a raw deal with that first song but he nailed the other two.

It's amazing to hear how different everyone's opinions are Differences make the world go round! Thank god we have them I think the complete opposite of Roxanna. I think that Clay sounds the same in all his songs. He has a good voice, don't get me wrong (I can't sing like him!), but I definitely wouldn't swoon over him or even listen to a record of his. I just can't get past his look and his fakeness and his awful facial expressions, so I thought that last night he was just horrid! Bad songs, and over sung...he tried too hard...if he toned it down a little and didn't sing so theatrically, I MIGHT feel differently about him. And Ruben, well, I think he's all personality...and not the typical image of the AI (neither is clay really), but it shows people that you don't have to look the part to BE the AI. Whichever wins, who cares (I mean, of course I want Ruben to kick butt, like he's been doing), but they are both stars already and should be very proud of themselves, and the record deals will fly for both of them, no matter what!

On another note, although I am a Ruben fan and don't like Clay's fakeness I think regardless of who wins they are both good role models and whoever wins will win because of talent, not just image.

Well, It's going to be tight right down to the wire...I totally agree with Roxanna...Reuben is a great singer but sounds the same all the time. He is also not as versitile as Clay with different music styles. I just LOVE Clay's voice...who cares what he looks like..I also love Elton John's voice and he's looks like a beast!!! PLEASE, any Clay fans, VOTE VOTE VOTE!!

PS: What was up with Paula's hat Tuesday nite:eek: :confused:

I'm with Tam--please my American friends, vote for Ruben for me since I can't!
Personally I think Clay would be a great Broadway singer. He has a lot of power to his voice and enunciates very crisply. His voice is ideal for the theatre.
Both are fine singers, but if it were up to me I'd award the AI title to Ruben.

How true. Regardless of who wins, the record deals are already in the bag. Even Kimberly Locke might have a shot at a record deal. She was great but it just wasn't consistent enough. I think she is capable of so much more. Her exit song was awesome.
