Julia just didn't belong with all the wonderful talent in that group. Carmen isn't much better but at least she has a nice attitude and personalty. Clay and Rueben are just wonderful!!! I'm sure they will have singing careers after this is all over:cool:

I'm so glad she was finally sent home too. I had to turn it off when she started singing "breathe" again.. I couldn't bear to listen to it again.

Clay and Ruben are my fave too like most of you.

They have such different sounds. Clay kinda reminds me of a disney cartoon singing voice or something... He would be good at those songs :p

I hate to admit it, but yes I too am an American Idol fanatic.
My house is cheering for Ruben and Kimberly Caldwell.
It dosen't matter what were doing when its Ruben's turn to sing cause we'll drop everything just to hear him.

Julia seemed like a nice girl, but she never seemed like actually had any talent. She totally butchered "Breath". Its hard to sing a Faith Hill song, but especially that one. When she came on at the end to sing one more time we had to mute the TV. None of us could bear listening to it again!:p

It wasn't the guy with the braids it was the Hercules guy, Rickey Smith. I like him I guess others just didn't vote for him.

That's surprising that it was Rickey and blonde Kimberly. They are both pretty good singers - much better than Carmen and Cory. I like Rickey, but can't imagine him making the top 3. Kimberly is a snob, and I don't mind a bit if she gets voted off. Some record company will sign her anyways. :rolleyes:

I think you're totally right on... Carmen and Cory should definitely have been the other two on the chopping block last night! Carmen sings every song exactly the same (bad), with her stupid machine-gun vibrato and country-twangy-voice break thing... drives me bonkers. Cory I haven't liked from day one, and I don't think he has turned in one performance that comes even close to Ruben, Clay, or Trenyce. Those three have been consistently good, and they're my picks for the top three. Not that I don't like the others, but none stand out like they do. Even Kim Locke (dark hair), who I think has a tremendous technical ability, has been hit-and-miss in the performances. Can't wait for next week! Anyone know what the song style is supposed to be?

Chewy's mom that is so funny because we feel the same way...Kimberly is a camera hog....last night she was out of control...with all the crying stuff....some how she managed again to make it all about her. Very annoying!!

OMG, I almost forgot about that! I was howling at her runny mascara!!! What a drama queen! Anything to get on camera. She may have to fake a seizure or something next week.
