Boxer Insane
Hope this is in the right forum- I apologize if not in advance.
Ok since we live in the country we know every car that passes our house every day, however there has been a new car around that isn't any of our nearby neighbors. Today my mom is outside and hears a car stop, she peeks around the corner of the house and sees a car stopped in the road and there are two young teenage kids in the car--but here's what's weird...they were stopped in the road looking at our other boxer (who was in her yard). So mom comes around the house, well soon as they see my mom they speed off---makes me think they were looking at Zoey like they want to take her. Luckily she's still VERY skittish around strangers and there is like a 1% chance they could catch her, but this is freaky. I know it sounds cliche' but honest "this stuff doesn't happen around here". Zoey walks the field between our two houses (like half a city block apart) several times a day, and everybody knows her and slows down for her, but this was really weird. Plus on top of that, the other day some kids were riding their bikes and stopped in front of the house and started yelling to Zoey- and she was just laying in her yard. I was so mad b/c I"m thinking "dont even try to provoke her to bite you then you can blame it on her" b/c I'm watching you and witness all of this. But could this possibly be related to the ppl today stopping to watch her?? But who just stops to watch a dog?? I want to hang a sign around her neck that says "Sorry I'm fixed, no puppies here" if that's what they're thinking. You just never know anymore and I'm so scared right now, needless to say these ppl have ruined Zoey's days outside laying in the yard b/c I fear for her safety. I just want you guys' opinions too, maybe i'm just crazy here, but rather be crazy than sorry later on.
