With such an extreme reaction, I would stay far away from future vaccinations. Talk to your vet or find a new vet that will do titer checks.

Glad your baby is ok.

What a scary experience! I would have been freaking out

Thank goodness everything turned out ok, I have to agree with everyone else, I wouldn't be vaccinating again!

Hugs to your baby :)

I know how bad these allergic reactions can be. I rushed Maggie to the vet one morning after some sort of sting, when she hived up and swelled up so quickly she couldn't open her eyes and she started panting and was having a hard time breathing. It was one of the scariest moments of my life too. I ran every red light for 5 miles to get to the vet clinic to have her taken care of.

I know how you feel, the same thing happened to Loke!! I was at home and luckily Matt only worked a short 2 minute drive down the road because he had our only car! I was paniced and called him and he ran out the door telling his Sergeant that his dog needed immediate attention! There was no way they were stopping him. And he's the one that says they're just dogs!
I'm glad Tyson is ok that must've been terrifying to see all that. Just don't give any more shots!!

Wow, very very scary situtation. I am so glade Tyson is doing well now. I like a lot of others on here came VERY close to losing my baby Chance to a bee/hornet/wasp sting. Within seconds he was flat out, unresponsive, and gums were white. I never want to experiance anything like that again. One lesson I learned is to never leave the house without benadryl on me.

BUT last night he peed on the floor twice

That would probably be because of the dexamethasone injection they gave him. One of the side effects is increased thirst and urination. Whenever Chance gets an injection of this he will usually dribble urine for the first day or two.

Glade your baby is ok. Give him a big (((hug))) from us.
