My poor daddy...
is allergic to just about anything with fur. When we lived in So. Cal. we had three cats, four dogs, and horses. He did fine with the pigs :p . It was also very windy and dusty in Lancaster so that aggrevated a lot of his problems. He used to go in and get weekly shots so this may be worthwhile to look into. What a father won't do for his daughter... .

I even have an inhaler when I get a touch of asthma (which is rare but usually happens from a combo of dog, cat, and mold spores!).
I take them down and outside I have two nails on the fence where I hook them on to and then I hose them wet wash them with a car brush closed and turn them the other way and wash them again and rinse, let dry and put them back up, it really works!!
