Hats off to you all
Me and my wife has found the joy and the tears in rescuing, fostering and adopting. I have met and worked with so many wonderful people in so many states and have been blessed to be a small part of it. It is so sad what some people will do to a helpless animal, but most when shown a little love turn into wonderful family members. Just ask our Bear Bear who just turned 1 and was thoroughly abused. Thank You for posting this!!
I follow a good few pound and adoption pages on Facebook and by times it literally breaks my heart !!
I am not in a position at the moment to help out but when I can I most definitely will ..
It is shocking to me what waste of human air will do to a defenseless animal. Some stories we get just bring me to tears because the rescues can't save them all. Fortunately the laws are getting better buy the day and more of these criminals are being sent to jail. Remember even donating an hour a month at a local shelter to take a dog for a walk is helping the cause. EVERYTHING helps!
I love this! Rescuing was the BEST decision EVER for us.... I was so nervous for so many different reasons due to the situation Chance was in but now each day when I look into his sweet eyes and see the love and trust that took time to gain, I know we (both chance and I) are truly blessed. In the future I will most definitely rescue again ... and again
Please do it again and again. I wish I could. I work long hours and when I find the perfect rescue I'll know it. someday i'll find my next dog in a million.
