? about breakaway collars

Hi all! Had a question regarding breakaway collars:

We're going to be moving back to the mainland this Nov. and will be flying Roscoe for the first time. (The first time we've flown with any pet.) While in the crate for the plane he is supposed to wear a collar and i.d. tags. Normally if he is crated he doesn't wear a collar - actually, he doesn't around the house at all. So, wondering if anyone has an opinion on the breakaway collars, and maybe any good places to order one from? I haven't been able to find any to check out around here.

I've heard many positives about break away collars from friends and friends of friends and of course I've been on websites and even here on boxerworld and read what people had to say...they def. work and could save your pets life... as for a website for ordering sitstay.com has them =o)

I went to google.com and typed in Breakaway Dog Collar and found many places with them for sale. That is your best bet.

As for asking if they are any good. I do not allow Jedi to wear his collar in the crate. If I HAD to (like you will have to during plane travel) I would definately go to a breakaway. Good luck.

Thanks! Those you've mentioned are the same I was looking at, I think they look pretty good and should fit the bill. I'm so nervous about flying him anyway, I don't want to add even more worries!
