I have just a little brag about my baby girl and I thought I would tell everyone about her adventures. We just got married on the 7th and went on our honeymoon. We live in Ontario and decided to go to Niagra Falls. I couldn't leave Abby at home and have her miss out on a family vacation so all 3 of us went. We found a pet friendly hotel (Best Western Fallsview) and packed her crate. She ordinarily stays in the crate for parts of the day (morning and afternoon) so when we went for meals or shopping she stayed. She got to go for many walks to the falls and I am just so proud of her. She is only 10 1/2 months old and was great! People came to pet her and I heard numerous comments about what a well behaved dog she is. She especially liked looking at the falls, she even put her paws on the fence to get a better view. Anybody else have vacation stories with their boxers?

My Abby got to go with us to Dallas for my brother's wedding. We found a pet-friendly hotel who tried to tell us that we didn't tell them she was a Boxer, (we did) and were concerned about her size and "how mean she looks". Silly people..."looking mean" is about as far as it goes. haha Anyway, we assured them that she was well behaved and would be crated when we weren't there. She was a little nervous the first day, but after that, she did great. People in the elevator would talk to her, and the kids would just go crazy over her. Of course, she loved that. haha. ;) They're such great dogs, I can't imagine life without her. :)

Congrats to your Abby on her 1st vacation!!

Sounds like you had a great honeymoon :) What a lucky pup to get to tag along! That's so great that she was such a good girl and I'm sure she had a blast :D
