I am so sorry

I, too, have been following your story with a heavy heart.

You did everything that was possible for the poor little girl, and now she is at peace.

I hope, you, too will find peace and comfort in knowing you did the hard but best choice for her.

I do hope you pursue the Pet Store owner. Not that it will change the way they operate, but at least it will be some compensation and help for the Katrina animals in memory of your Abby.

I am relieved for both Abby and yourself. You gave her the opportunity to leave this earth knowing that she had a home and a family that loved her. She was a lucky girl in my book. You and Abby will always hold a special place in my heart...firstly because even though I know what you decided was the right thing, my heart found it hard to believe that there was no way I could help her and secondly because I know that she loved you and you her and that made her quality of life wonderful.

I just caught your thread and wanted to say how very sorry I am for your loss. I was reading your other posts as well and you've been a horrible experience. It makes me so angry that people don't take temperament into consideration when breeding. Know in your heart that you've done all you could for Abby and now you've given her peace, which no one was able to give her before. She is safe and happy and playing at the Bridge with all of our babies.

Run free, little girl. No more hurt, no more anger will follow you. Only lots of happiness and sweet Boxer angel kisses.

I've read a number of your posts about Abby and just wanted to let you know how sorry I am things turned out this way. She was a very fortunate girl to have you, even though it was for such a short time. You should be commended for making such an effort to help her. I guess we'll never know what exactly went wrong (breeding vs. early abuse?), but at least she's at peace now and perhaps frolicking with your Shadow and others and the Rainbow Bridge.
