Oscar's Mom

Super Boxer
Oscar had TPLO surgery on his left hind knee in August and is fully recovered. The bad part is that now his right knee is showing signs of a tear and he's limping again. His symptoms were the slight limping and stiffness when getting up. He would sometimes hold it up if he were just standing there. It was a very expensive procedure but the results were amazing. He was wanting to walk a couple days post surgery. Take a look at my gallery for post surgery pics of his leg. Not pretty.

Good luck with your pup.

Sydney's Surgery

Hi! I have not posted in a long time, but I now have a need for some support. My little girl, Sydney is having TPLO surgery tomorrow and I am worried about it. I have been reading alot of things and my head is swimming. I am probably worried about nothing and Sydney will be fine, but she is my little angel and a mom has to worry. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Nicole

For everyone going through cruciate ligament surgery - this link is invaluable (at least it was for me).

Everyone there has been through it already or is now going through the experience, the worry and the confinement. Lots of good info and links about TPLO and "traditional" surgery here.
