I think it is so cute when I come to get back in the car and she is just sitting there looking around for me. And as soon as she sees me she pulls her little ears back and I just know that little nub is wagging hard. Something I always say, only a Boxer lover (or other saggy jowl breed) can appreciate is the slobber. I love to see two boxers play and just see slobber flying. THat makes me smile, crazy as it sounds!

Zeus is the same way. Its so true you can't take one w/out the other. But whenever I come back to the car Zeus is always "driving". I don't think Kia ever gets a turn. My daughter has gotten so used to it she always tells Zeus to "scootch pootch"(she is 4). I love it when people say the dog is driving or look at the dog. It makes me swell up with even more pride than I already have for them. A lot of people that have little kids with them will be pointing Zeus and Kia out to their kids, they truelly are one of a kind, and I would never have anything but.

This is so cute!!
I had once left Martin alone in the car for about 10 min to go to the groceries and pick up some staff. While i was paying i said to the cashier that my dog was waiting for me in the car, and the lady behind me started saying how irresponsible this was and how cruel i was being to the poor animal that would probably become dehydrated and eventually die in the car. I didn't know what to do with her, i had her follow me to the car, and there he was: All windows were down (mind you it was a warm April afternoon - early spring), Martin was lying in the back shit with all his four legs up high in the air, while to radio was on, and he was rocking himself back and forth with the music.
He was so funny!!! totally oblivious to the rest of the world, with the music on, and the whole car to do as he pleased!! The lady looked startled as if she would have been more pleased to see him half dead to prove her right!!!

I wish I could take my babies out with me. but here in so florida it is to hot for them.:(

I am getting so sad because the warm weather is coming and Duke won't be able to go on our supermarket runs anymore! He also loves to sit in the driver's seat. I don't think I'll be going food shopping often anymore!

Every time I get stalked, I make sure to tell people Owen is a rescue. I am a total boxer stalker myself, so I love when it is reversed :D !

I live in South Florida, and I take Owen places all the time. I am selective though. Mostly we go to PetSmart, fast food drive through, the bank drive through, or the gas station (ok, the "get gas now" light came on while we were coming home from the vet :o .) I don't usually take him during the day, and I never leave him in the car for longer than it takes to stand in line at the gas station.

LOL..Geez, this brings back a very funny memory of Xena! When I had my car, my now ex and I went to the Dairy Queen, with Xena of course because she loves ice cream too! We went in and got our order and when we came out, Xena is in the drivers seat! The parking lot is full because the Dairy Queen was, and still is, a teen hang-out. My ex jumped into the backseat and says "Driver, take us to the park", and all these teenagers are looking at us and laughing their heads off! They thought Xena was soooo "cool"! Needless to say, she got alot of attention that day and extra ice cream from some new friends!
