Super Boxer
hi all
on Saturday night i babysat 3 kids - 11, 7 & 3.5yrs - by myself while hubby went to see a band with his best mate and his wife (parents of kids) when i said he could go - that i didn't mind i mustn't have beening thinking straight 3 kids and 2 excited dogs (stupid women i am). anyway both my boxers love kids (hubby and i don't have any yet) my question to everyone who has kids and boxers is if they live in the same house all the time do they ever stop being so excited and learn to leave the kids alone??
the poor kids where shadowed everywhere they went, bounced on, licked over and over again, when they went to sleep (they slept on camp beds in lounge room watching star wars) the dogs licked them to death walked all over their beds, totally ignored what mummy was saying, now they calmed down and went to sleep but if the kids moved the dogs were up checking they were ok with kisses- they also went into protect mummy & kids mode the slightest noise set them off, this checking on them went on all night - i didn't get much sleep at all chasing the dogs away from the kids and back to bed in our room - i said to hubby we a going to buy a baby gate so i can block off the room the kids sleep in but just wondered how they will be with our kids when they arrive (going to our 2nd ivf attemp tomorrow so hopefully it will work fingers crossed)
the good thing is i know they love kids which is great & they really are quite good most of the time.

I love the excitement of it all and I especially love to see the bond between the kiddies, fur and skin! Gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside! :D
. Porter on the other hand is ALL OVER Cole and Cole is as annoying as Porter. They are my 2 little monster boys. Porter and Cole insist on sharing a bottle and Pacifier too. They climb on each other and Porter MUST bath Cole in boxer kisses. I find them equally annoying to each other ALL the time.
