So very sorry to hear about your illness. I have been wondering where you have been. Several times I started to post a request for updates on your babies and how Rider was doing, but I just never did and now I am sorry that I didn't. You have much more "family" that you realize. Just reading these posts I hope you realize that your "family" through BW is widespread and heartfelt. Please follow ALL instructions and get well soon. We have all lost patience with our babies at one time or another, but I truly believe they understand and we all know they love us anyway. We are human and they know that. They love you and only want you to get better. Take care and keep us posted when you can. Take care and our prayers are definitely with you.

I'm overwhelmed by the responses all of my wonderful friends and "family" at boxerworld have posted. It sure has helped me to know that I'm just human and that my dogs will forgive me for all my problems.

I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your kind words and well wishes. I am doing my best to recover and have made significant progress. This will be a very long ordeal but, perhaps by Spring we'll be able to take our walks again and visit a dog park (we have one opening here in Tulsa, FINALLY) and car trips and all the wonderful things I so enjoy doing with my wonderful fur family.

They are my life and soul and I would be lost and probably have given up and curled up somewhere and died were it not for them. I completely attribute my recovery to their patience and love and constant reminder to me that they are the greatest thing in the world, my reason for living and I will do everything under the sun to make sure that I recover from this terrible ordeal as quickly as I can so that our lives together can again be happy and full of love and fun for us all.

Again, thank you all for your wishes to me for a fast recovery. This will take time but we're getting there.

What a wonderful email and tribute. I am sorry you have been so ill. I had no idea.

But the very best gift you can give your Boxers is to let them be YOUR BOXERS. These guys want nothing more than to let us bring them in as close to our hearts as possible. I have no doubt your Boxers know they hold that very special spot

Confession is always good for the heart however, your post was more of a profession of your true love of Maggie, Suzi and Ryder. The three amigo's will always stand beside their Daddy and give totally love and support. Many praises to your wonderful neighbors for all their help.

I too don't have family close so Madison and Carson have been my saving grace more than just a few times. Call me cynical but I would put my trust and love in my two babies before I would anyone else.

I hope that your recovery continues to progress well and you will soon be walking your kids again. I am dealing with long term health issues also and can only say... there's alway another corner to turn until we get to that last "great" corner. Keep turning those corners, your babies need you!

I truly understand how you feel about your babies, A couple of years ago i was so very depressed and was thinking about packing it in. If it wasnt for my sweet Katie-girl, i know i would have. She carries a piece of my heart with her everyday, just as Maggie, Susie, and Ryder carry a piece of your heart everyday. It really is a good thing you have a big heart to share with them! You are a truly amazing person and I know you will get better soon! With those three holding you in their hearts and taking care of you, how could you not get better!
