It was $4 to get into Quiet Waters a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure if the price went up since it's 'in season' time now.

so I watched the weather channel and they say it is supposed to rain sat. Are we all still going if it rains? Of course it could change by then.... I am so sick of rain..........I took Layla to the dog park in Wilmington this sat and we got there at about 9:15 and there was noone there by 9:30 there was probably 30 dogs there and they were all swimming too much fun....

I just checked weather.com and it says scattered t storms but 78 degrees. I will still be attending and hope the weather gets better.

Is anyone still planning on going to the dog beach? I live right near the Bay and I took Zack there a few days ago (it was his first time there) and he was scared to death of the water! I think if the water had been still he would have been okay but those waves really got him :D . So I thought maybe he can find some big, brave boxers that he can follow into the water.

As far as boxers thinking they are bigger than they are, Zack definitely isn't this way - he's a huge baby :rolleyes: . He does get really excited when he sees little dogs though - it's like he thinks it's a cat :D

Bella likes the water but has only been in fresh water streams and rivers. Hopefully she won't be scared of the waves! Can we go in with them? Usually my husband will go in with her when the current is strong...

My bf and I will be there with the Nikodog! We went to Gunpowder State Park on Sunday and he was too funny with the mud and water! He would get as close as he could to the edge without falling in and would woo-woo at it! I think he wanted to jump in but was just too big of a sissyto go for it!:p I think he would go in the water if there are other dogs around to get in with. I am hoping for bright sunshine, I need some sun on my skin!:cool:
