Other dogs do this to Zack also! They start playing and he gets all excited and his paws start flying and the other dog just stops and stares at him. Oh well, at least this time there will be other boxers there!

As for Zack's age, he will be 1 year old tomorrow. At the last vet appointment, he was 83 lbs. He doesn't really look like he weighs that much, though. He's very muscular.

It sounds like Bella is going to be the smallest one! Wow! I am surprised. Maybe I need to weigh her again, it's been about a month...

She doesn't play well with smaller dogs, she is too rough. But anything and everything bigger than her she loves. She is always getting pounded to the ground by a friends choc lab and in-laws golden! She'll have a great time!

I dont think small matters when it is a boxer they think they are alot bigger than they really are anyway.. I think Layla thinks she is huge. At least her ego is. She knows the words she is so pretty. When people say this to her it is like Thanks I know I am. Then she gets all crazy. She play well with tiny dogs. Like Jack Russels. I think she thinks it is a moving chew toy.. She has a moo cow bigger than them....haha. When we took her to the bark park they have a huge lake and all the other dogs were labs and swimming well i think she fell in b/c i cant see her jumping in buy she was not to happy about that.. this is a dog that will walk around a puddle b/c she will get wet. although she does like baths.so much I have to keep the door shut b/c if not she would take a shower every day....Bring lots of towels they can get really muddy. I brought two at the last park and I think I could have used ten. She had to get a bath when we got home, she was all mud stained...but she sure had a blast.

Niko is 5 months and weighs about 35lbs or so. He hasn't been weighed in awhile. Niko doesn't play well with other little dogs either, he always boxes them and they get mad and huff away! I don't think any dogs get their way of play. The only dog that ever tolerates it is his Pit friend Reggie! They roll on the ground, smack each other, all that good puppy stuff! I am worried about Niko getting too rough with other dogs too, but I am hoping that he will be too occupied with the other Boxer's to notice the other mongrels

I worried that layla was getting too ruff with other dogs too but it was us she is ruff with we wrestle her and push her then she runs at us full force and smacks us with her big paws.. But when she got around the other dogs bigger ones she was fine kinda like whoa this is cool big dogs to play with.. It was when she was about 5 months then when she turned 6 months it was like she knew who to be ruff with and who to be gentle with.. I think it is the excited puppy syndrome. her nubb never stops wagging, making her whole back end sway back and fourth....too cute.

Bella and I plan on being at the park at 1000am. Hopefully I won't get lost! I have the directions already printed out but I am a real wimp when it comes to high traffic and a larger city than little ol Fredneck! I am so excited, Bella has no idea! I can't wait. She is going to have the best time!

While we were volunteering at a PGSPCA Adoption Reunion he won first place in a "Does your dog do tricks?" contest. The prize was a $50 gift certificate at with a pet photographer. Stay tuned!
