Question

Do we have a back up plan if it rains? It seems to have rained every Sunday for the last 3 weeks, maybe we should think of a rain date or something if it rains.

I am so excited!!!

I am also bringing my husband- Pat, Subi and Bailey and foster child Faith

As far as the weather goes right now...the weather channel says it is supposed to be sunny, partly cloudy, high 50 degrees...

Of course...I am sure this will change before we get to Sunday.

I say unless serious weather is predicted..

i.e. thunder storms, serious rain etc we should go for it. Of course if it isn't good traveling weather we could select an alternative rain date. Perhaps the following Sunday.

We are definantly still planning on attending but it may just be good ole Baxter boy in tow with us that day. I am looking foward to seeing all of you there

We are playing it by ear.

Remember that puffy scar on Scarlet's head I told you all about? Well she had it removed last Wednesday and has stitches across her head from ear to ear. She is also sporting a lamp shade around her neck at this time. Her stitches will be removed Saturday as will the lamp shade. If all looks well enough that she can paticipate in possible rough play we will be there! I will let you know for sure on Saturday.

PS The lamp shade Scarlet has to wear is more heart wrenching than the shaved head & stitches. She bumps into things (including the back of my legs ) all the time. It takes her several tries to get in and out of the crate and going up the stairs is a challenge. She also tries to scratch her head but only wacks at the lamp shade. :( It sounds funny but is sad. I am always wondering what she must be thinking as to why we have put that thing on her. :( I cant look at her without feeling guilt.

I know what you mean about the cone thing, when Bailey had her dew claws, spay and tail docked she had to wear one and i felt so bad for her, she had this pitiful expression on her face :(

I hope you are able to make it, i have missed you every time you have been at the dog park :(

If it rains i will not be attending, SO I HOPE IT WILL BE A NICE SUNNY DAY, if it should rain we should postpone till the first of april (7th) because the following Sunday is Easter.

April 7th is a better Rain/Date if the weather isn't favorable.

I am praying though for one of those 69 degree days that we were having in this area just a couple of weeks ago. We have waited long enough so Let's have a great time!!!! appicon appicon

We are too! Can we get a confirmed count? I hope everyone is still in! It will be a fun get together that you wont want to miss. My husband is even looking forward to it and thats saying something. (he usually never wants to stuff like this-- unless golfing is involved)
