A 2nd baby?

My Bailey is 1 now... he is house-broken and neutered, I want to get another baby but am undecided whether or not to get another Boxer or another breed. I've searched the web high and low and am undecided on what breed( so they are compatable) BUT I'd love to have another Boxer!! One more ? --- Male or Female? Any imput would be appreciated ! THANKS

One?? We have two and keep talking about #3 :D

We are thinking about waiting until Quinsi turns 2 (He just turned 1) I think he still needs a little more growing up before adding another Boxer. We are also undecided to get a pup or a rescue.

I have a boxer and a rottweiler. I would have loved to have two boxers, but DH really wanted a rottweiler. :) I'd say go for another boxer!! :D And go for a female. Male/female pairing is normally the best.

I have also been thinking of a second dog. My girl is two and I don't know why, but boxers are addictive! I know I want another boxer and it must be male. I've heard that two female boxer sometimes don't get along. I would like to rescue most likely but I am having trouble finding rescues in my area. I just think it would be great to give a sweet boy who really deserves a warm bed every night a great home!

Being biased, I'd have to say get another boxer! Being that you have a male, a female would probably be your best choice. What other breeds are you considering? I just got my 2nd boxer last sunday(16th) and it is wonderful having two boxers! You get double the love, double the fun, double the laughs, and double all the boxer antics that we love! I started out with my white female boxer and she is 13 months, I just got Matlock and he is 16 months, so they're similar in age. They're a true joy and make me oh-so-happy!! There is nothing like seeing two boxers play with each other. I have said this for years now, "The best thing you could ever give your boxer is another boxer".

We have another boxer now. Ruby is a 15 month old fawn and Lexi is a 11 week old brindle. What a joy! We LOVE to watch them play and they really do keep each other busy.
I do have to say, it's a little more work since she's a baby and needs to be watched and pottied a lot, but besides that...we are so glad we have both of them.

Two are about 4x the fun. They enjoy playing with each other. Now would be a good time so they would be close in age. We have a almost 2 yr old girl and almost 9 yr old boy. The energy levels don't match all the time and she can be a real pest to him when he needs to rest.
