I agree with everyone else. It will get better....just give it time. My 2 couldn't get enough of each other at 1st. It was getting on hubby's nerves more than mine. But after about a week things started to settle down. They still love to play with each other but they are not constantly doing it. They cuddle together but they also leave each other alone when they have tired out. It'll get better...in a few months you'll think why didn't we get 2 Boxer's sooner!

still playing! but w/puppy bite marks!

Zeus and Zaida are playing all the time.... sleeping next to each other and on top of me of course... My boy, Zeus, now has puppy teeth marks all on his chest/jowels... from playing w/Zaida... She grabs him by his chest or jowels and makes him wimper!!! I don't like seeing the scabs on him!!! Should I separate them when they start to play "rough"???

Well I had the same problem but I let them play and work it out. Angel was covered in lottle bite bumps but she was content. Frank soon outgrew that stage and after awhile the play biting completely stopped.

I wouldn't necessarily stop them as my two play extremely rough but I would start using a command when you do want them to chill out. We use ENOUGH and then when they both stop and sit, I give them an okay (which releases them from the sit position). I found it to be a good idea so when they get older (and maybe even louder) and you for some reason want them to stop playing you can do it easily and then they also know when to stop.

Tucker was a giant red mark from when we got Titus until his baby teeth fell out. I use to be concerned people would think we fought him since he was such a mess...he totally didn't mind and when Titus was about 20weeks started telling Titus when enough was enough. We used neosporan on his cuts and stuff each night.

hi i no this can be a trying time & believe me it will get better when i brought my litte boy home tigger he was only 9 wks old my little girl 5yrs old 65 lbs went berzerk she did the same thing licking smelling she & my rotty 155 lbs both went nuts but it worked uot very well after they realized he was there to stay about 4 days of having to constantly watch him just to referee when they got a little to rough with him now 1yr later my girl boxer lucy my male rotty funtlaroy and tigger are the best friends in the world it lucy acts like his mom funtlaroy like his dad i have never seen 3 dogs get along so well in all my life they truly love oneanother please hang in there it does get better outragous boxer nutt
