1st day of Easter hols'

It's the first day of the Easter hols for me and I feel more tired than when I'm at work.
I helped my friend take her two dogs to the vets this morning for their kennel cough spray (one is a bit funny with other dogs so she needed me to take the other one) She rang at 9.30am and was chatting away and said 'we'll be leaving at about 10.15am, hope Moose behaves at the vets, you haven't forgot have you? What me, forget? No I'll be over at 10.15am. YIKES I thought I had forgot so dashed upstairs to get showered and dressed
I've walked the dogs twice, nice long ones so I've done 4 dog walks in total (think of all those calories I've burned off )
I did 4 loads of washing & hung them out, picked up the same pair of trousers from the patio a dozen times that Casper thoughtfully kept pulling off the line and I've cut the front lawn. It was a tad long so I had to strim it first then mow it twice. I also re dug the borders and topped them up with compost and pruned the shrubs. It looks so neat once again now (I'm a fair weather gardener now days)
I was going to do the ironing tonight but my lovely daughter has offered to do it for me tomorrow, hmmmm, wonder what she wants now?

I don't post much but had to reply to this thread. What a coincidence! I was completely knackered today...much worse then when I work. (I work in the schools as a Speech-Lang. Pathologist) We're off for Easter too. What was I doing??? taking my 2 boxers in for their kennel cough shots...but by myself! I must be mad. Lexi goes completely crazy when she's at the vets and Titus just whines and tries to climb on my lap every few seconds. Everyone who passed by was amazed and commented on how it was a wonder Lexi hadn't managed to pull my arm out of its socket yet. When we got back we were all weary and had to have a sit down or more like a lay down. I told DH that I was absolutely not doing that again.
