10 Commandments of Dog Ownership

I think your ten commandments are terrific. everyone should read this before they get a pet. they rely on us for everything. it almost chokes me up to read it and think of my girls. i feel so helpless when they are sick or if i haven't spent enough time with them and they look at me with those sad doggie eyes.


I think this is great i'm going to tprint it and out it up where everyone can see.

So important to remember... we are EVERYTHING to our babies. I am definitely guilty of forgetting that and getting caught up in my own life sometimes. Luckily, I've seen this version of the 10 commandments before, and I always remember that one and set my priorities straight!!

After reading #4, that is when my eyes filled with tears.

I always wonder if our fur babies know how much we love them
and understand that they are as important to us as we to them.

I recieved these "Commandments" in my adoption packet from the rescue organization when I adopted Nana.. I love it.. every once in a while-when she has tested my last nerve, I take it out and read it again.. it reminds me once again that I really did make the right decision with her..
.. as if there was really any doubt!!
