Boxer Booster
Just wanted to share that 1 year ago today, Rocco came into our lives. He had a rough first 2 years. His original owner ended up leaving him for boarding at the vet - and didn't want anything to do with him (my guess is because he was in and out with ear infections and ended up costing this guy more than her wanted to be spending). Thankfully, one of the vet techs took him in. However, her parents didn't like the thought of having the dog in the house while she was at work, so he was outside all day, every day. The vet tech (who was a former student at the school my father teaches at) visited and mentioned that she needed to find a home for a boxer because it was starting to get cold out. My father set the wheels in motion for us and October 27, 2002, Rocco became our furkid! We fell in love with him at first sight. And he took to us like a fish to water! I still remember at our first meeting how my hubby was near tears when Rocco came over to him as he was kneeling and put his paws on his shoulder like he was giving him a hug and slobbered all over him - we knew from that moment on that Rocco was "ours" 
One year later and I wouldn't change a thing!!!
