    Questions about deaf boxers

I was just wondering if the white boxers that are deaf, are they born deaf or do they eventually go deaf? I'm going to get a boxer in about a year and was considering getting a white because I'm not interested in showing or breeding, I just want a companion. However, I don't think I'd do so...

    Hello from Oregon

Thanks for replying! :) I really love the look of both natural and cropped ears, but you're right about bad crop jobs, when they're bad, they're really bad. And of course there's no turning back if you get a bad crop, I think that's what I'm most worried about when I finally get my boxer baby...

    Hello from Oregon

Hello, I'm new to BoxerWorld, although I've been reading posts for a couple of weeks now. :) I live in Central Oregon and am currently dogless, although my father has one Mastiff (Prozac) and two mutts (Karma and Loaf). I'm currently in college and will graduate in about 2-3 more terms...

    Quick Question

Thank you very much, you all have been very helpful. :) Guess I'll just have to find a good lookin' fence. Or maybe a kennel for when I'm not around. Where I live has no leash laws as far as I know, because we're not in the city limit, we're kinda out in the boonies. :p -Toy Dragon

    Breeders in Oregon?

I'm curious if anyone knows of any good, knowledgable, and experienced breeders in or close to Oregon? I'm not sure when I'll be getting a puppy, so I'd like to start looking around and talking to some breeders. For some reason boxer breeders seem to be an elite and mysterious group here in...

    Quick Question

I'm going to get a boxer pup sometime in the future (not really sure when yet) and I'm curious as to if you can train them to stay on the property without a fenced yard? The neighborhood I currently live in is real easy-going about unfenced dogs, and fences generally look pretty ugly where I...

Trying to come up with manly or unusual names for a puppy

Names always reflect the personalities of the pups, it seems. My dad named his mastiff Prozac, and he is definitely an anti-depressent. I once met a woman who named her two Dobermans Felony and Justice. If you plan on having more pups, you might try a theme like that or something. :)
